  • Ending the Two Englands

    The United Kingdom is the most regionally unequal country in the developed world and England is the most starkly unequal nation in the union.

    There are ‘Two Englands’ - prosperous cities with significant real estate wealth, new industry, and foreign investment, and struggling towns with dilapidated high streets and aging populations.

    We want to look at how industrial strategy and wealth taxes can End The Two Englands

  • Labour must become a political vehicle for working class people and for class politics.

    It must restore the prestige and educational infrastructure associated with professional trades and caring professions.

    If we put class and work first, what must change? We will talk about working class people’s participation in politics, arts, building a home grown key worker workforce and a class-first approach to equality.

  • Keep The Red Wall Red

    The route to government in 2029 will be through the Red Wall.

    For the first time in a generation, Labour has a unique chance to win government with class politics that appeal to communities that have been left behind by globalisation.

    We will focus on how Labour can better respond to working class voters’ needs and values to represent its seats in the Red Wall and post-industrial England. We will will look at how European left wing parties have kept the ‘Reform/Labour’ swing voter’s loyalty and votes, and look at how non-voters will affect the 2029 election.
