Grassroots ‘Old Labour’ lobby RESTORATION announces NEC slate for Labour’s internal elections

promises to
’End Labour Corruption’
And
’Make Labour Working Class Again’

“Labour has become a party for middle class and upper middle class professionals. The priorities of this group are behind our nose dive in the polls.
Labour desperately needs to become a party for working class people again.”

Ever since taking over government, we have seen a total abuse of power by New Labour’s detritus.
Appointing Peter Mandelson, close friend of the world’s most famous sex trafficker, to our ambassadorship with the USA, stitching up local party selections to exclude working class people, and lying to Labour members about our party’s plans and direction.

We told the country we would be better than the Conservatives. Then our MPs drowned in big money donations, freebies and friendship with people that sell out Britain to feather their own nests.

We told the public we would deal with grooming gangs. Then we fought a proper enquiry and put a close friend of the world’s most famous sex trafficker into an ambassadorship, humiliating abuse victims around Britain.

It’s not enough for Morgan Mcsweeney to go. We need a clean sweep and a new start. We need to make Labour working class again’

said Restoration founder, campaigner David Littlefair

Speaking of the priorities of Restoration’s NEC campaign, David says

Our slate prioritises people that have had or have real jobs in industry, care and retail. Working class representation in politics has utterly collapsed, and Labour only has a handful of MPs that have come from jobs in industry, or keyworkers. Labour shouldn’t be a party of lobbyists and consultants, it should be a party for people with technical and caring jobs in the real economy”

David outlines these three campaign priorities:

  • End Labour Corruption

  • Choose Working Class Candidates

  • Save British Industry and Fight Regional Inequality

“We have three priorities that Labour needs to take drastic action on: regional inequality, good work, and activating working class voters.

End Labour Corruption
“We promised to be better than the Tories, but we’ve seen big money donors and lobbyists swarming Labour. We saw Labour Together paying to investigate of journalists and hiding hundreds of thousands in donations. We saw Peter Mandelson appointed in spite of every warning. This isn’t the Labour party anyone voted for. The polls show the public see us as no different to the Conservatives.”
Vote a Restoration candidate for the NEC and elect politicians that aren’t in the pockets of big money donors.

Saving British Industry and Fighting Regional Inequality
“We want Labour to put serious time, effort and money into Saving British Industry and Fighting Regional Inequality
We live in the most regionally unequal country in the developed world. and England is the most unequal country in the union.
If we aren’t putting serious redistribution into the deindustrialised parts of the North and Midlands, and defending the last of their industry, we are going to fail the communities that voted us in.”
Vote a Restoration candidate and protect British industry.

Choose Working Class Candidates:
We want Labour to start celebrating the
dignity of labour - the crucial work in caring professions and trades that keeps our country going.
We think Labour should prioritise apprenticeships over failed universities, make real and lasting efforts to put working class people into parliament and into local councils instead of professional politicians, and immediately start a commission to understand and promote Good Work - before AI and computer monitoring destroy the wellbeing of our workers.”
Restoration NEC members will only select Labour candidates that have had a real job. Not lobbyists.
